- Everyone is naturally good at something(talent)
- Everyone is born with a purpose.
- Be determined and committed to your topic of interest,
- It is never to late to succeed.
- Forget about everyone else and find your own purpose.
Everyone is a genius in the sense that everyone is good at something or has a natural affinity towards something. A simple example of this would be that a fish is good at swimming and a monkey is good at swinging through trees and climbing them. No one is born without a purpose and we believe that everyday we should be working on finding that purpose or honing our individual talents. Everyone’s talent or purpose differs from each other and so there are others that may be better at you than a specific task but you may be better than them at a different task. The fact that you aren’t good at a particular thing does not mean that you are useless, it just means you aren’t entirely suited for the said task. Although you may not be immediately good at the said task this should not discourage you from trying to get better at it.We believe the quote is also telling us not to pursue something because the majority is pursuing it however we should pursue our own paths and our own goals. There are many real life people who can inspire us or even some fictional characters. Anna Mary Robertson Moses, one of the most celebrated names in American fine arts and folk arts.Anna Moses pursued the art of embroidery, but after her arthritis grew too painful she decided to give painting a try in the mid-1930s. She was 76 when she began painting and she lived another 25 years as a painter. Her works have been showcased worldwide and one of her paintings, The Sugaring Off was sold for US$1.2 million! At such an old age she found her calling and succeeded. She should be an inspiration to us all. She found her talent and made great use of it. In conclusion, ignore what everyone else is doing, find your own passion and work on it consistently until you are successful.
